Dorothea Maier
Vivian Dorothea Maier was an American amateur street photographer, who was born
in New York City, but grew up in France. (February
1, 1926 – April 21, 2009) She took more than 100,000 photographs, primarily of
people and cityscapes in Chicago, although she traveled and photographed
worldwide. Her photographs
remained unknown and mostly undeveloped until they were discovered.
Helmut Newton
Helmut Newton born in Berlin was a German-Australian photographer. He was a "prolific, widely
imitated fashion photographer. (31 October 1920 – 23 January 2004)
Ilse Bing
Ilse Bing was a German
avant and commercial photographer during the inter-war era. Her Self-Portrait remains an icon of modernist photography, and a time when many women
were embracing modernity and independence, along with the new opportunities. (23 March 1899 – 10 March 1998)
Ansel Easton Adams
Ansel Easton Adams was an American photographer and environmentalist. His
black-and-white landscape photographs of the American West, especially Yosemite
National Park, have been widely reproduced on calendars, posters, and in books.
In this picture, I felt that I was very well
comfortable and calm from him. His smiling face of photos appeals person’s
mind. Also, some photos with other person are proofs. His smiling shows us that
he isn’t old and seems like a young boy except for his appearance. You can view more of her work here.
Stanley Kubrick was born in New York. He was an American film director, screenwriter, producer,
cinematographer, and editor who did most of his work. He was considered
intelligent despite poor grades at school. (July 26, 1928 – March 7, 1999)
